The CWRF Supports Spread A Smile’s Winter Garden Party

On Saturday 13th January, the CWRF supported Spread a Smile in welcoming 320 children and young adults to the Winter Garden Party. Spread a Smile made sure everyone could get involved with a wide range of activities including gingerbread house making, a sweet stall, nail art, face painting, play-doh, glitter tattoos, friendship bracelet making, teddy bear t-shirt and tote bag decorating, storytelling and pizza making.

Special guests, including All About Anna’s Animals and the LEGO Group added an extra layer of joy with adorable animals to hold and creative LEGO® activities. The UK Dome Company’s snow dome provided a captivating backdrop for storytelling, while bumper cars, a VR experience from Bryght Ltd, a Silent Disco by Silent Event, and a slimy slime-making experience with Slime Planet added to the festivities.

The Children’s Welfare and Research Foundation began our support of Spread a Smile in 2022. The Winter Garden Party serves as a great example of the amazing work the Spread a Smile team make possible

Hugo loved the play doh table and spent ages on the gingerbread house table too. Thank you so much for a fantastic day of treats and such a magical day.
