The Impact of Your Support
This year’s CWRF Annual Charity Golf Day at Moor Park Golf Club made a truly remarkable impact thanks to the generosity of everyone who took part. The event enabled us to bring our total contributions to each of our charitable partners up to an incredible £132,000 over the past year. This includes £62,222 to Great Ormond Street Hospital, £25,000 to Skeletal Cancer Trust to help fund pioneering creitical research and enhance patients experience, £30,000 to Spread A Smile (including £5,000 raised through our CWRF Charitable Draw) to bring joy to children in hospital, £10,000 to Playskill to help children with physical disabilities reach their full potential, and £5,000 to The Rainbow Trust, providing emotional and practical support to families caring for seriously ill children.
We were also delighted to welcome Lucy Jackson from Spread A Smile, who joined us on the day and gave a heartfelt talk about the charity’s incredible work brightening the lives of young patients. Her inspiring words captured exactly what the CWRF Charity Golf Day is all about — coming together to make a lasting difference for children and families in need.
